Where we started....
How it's going!
I had a lot of drama with picking out my tile, but I did not give up. I found a tile @Home Depot that fit so well you could only tell if you watched my stories this week to see what it was about. It was a great reminder to never give up and trust your gut. Honestly, the tile I picked last week felt like a "make it work" situation. The tile this week feels like a "this is it" situation!
Can you tell the difference?! I'm so pleased and glad I didn't give up the search for my "needle in the haystack."
Many faces of design:
Although a lot of my project so far not been DIY, I really wanted to work on the design aspect of this project vs. doing all of it.
Lately, I've been interested in the vision of design. With 3 kids and a full time job, a husband and so much more, I want to choose DIY project that bring me joy not more stress 🥴. The positive stress is why I love this. There are so many elements of design, decor, and DIY. I want to play with each part and find the joy in it all. I've learned so much in this aspect of working with professionals and being able to step back look at the forest vs. the tree.
I'm so close to having my home back to dustless, I can almost taste it.... or maybe that's just more dust I'm tasting 🥴😅.
WEEK 7 PLAN
Here's what's on the menu for Week 7:
- Finish wall paper
- Add the board and batten
-Caulking
- Paint, paint and more paint... trust me ...there is still alot of DIY for me to do.
