Tablescape on a Budget

Updated: Jul 4, 2021

Who doesn't love a good tablescape? Whether it's hosting a holiday dinner or having guests from out a town, there is something about the place settings that just take the ambiance to new heights. All that Glitters doesn't have to cost Gold!

You should look for timeless little trinkets on the clearance aisle after every major Holiday. It may seem silly, but it saves alot. When the holidays comes by again, you will be amazed by how festive your home looks at a fraction of the cost! I'll use my tablescape as an example. Most the items below cost me less than $50 last year!!

The glittery flower clips! $1 for 4 at Dollar Tree. I'd actually visit Dollar Tree around Thanksgiving, because they will have the most options available and it's still only going to cost $1per item ! 🤗

The napkin rings- $2.50 each @ Pier One on clearance during their going out of business sale summer 2019. I didn't know why I was even buying them, but I loved them. I store them in a pretty vase as decor when I'm not using them.

The end plates $3.00 @ Hobby Lobby after Christmas Sale. I only kick myself I didn't by more.

Candles $2.00 each @ Target. The mini trees were 3 in a pack for $2.00.

The Garland is a Hearth and Hand piece I also found at Target for $10 for 2!!!! If you know anything about Hearth and Hand items they are quality and can be costly. That item was originally over $40 each!

Center piece- FREE!! This one is something "VINTAGE" my mother in law was tossing out. I took it from her and use it during the Holidays. Mercury Glass is such a pretty glimmer and ALWAYS looks expensive 😉

The Napkins were $5.99 for 12 at Home Goods.

The last 2 items I bought this year. I added the links for you to look them up if you love them.

Mercury Glass Votives- $15.99 for 12

Lamorgift Gold Votive Candle... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B3PT12J?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Gold Placemats- $21 for 6

DII Woven Paper Round Decorative... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V4QBDMS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I spent $63.15 on the 2 items I bout this year compared to $48.99 the AFTER Christmas for 11 items a year ago !!! 😲

December 26th is the BEST day to shop for holiday items! Use these tips to get your 2021 table and holiday decor ready! 🎄
