WEEK 1- DECLUTTER
Well.. this is embarrassing đł! I don't know if anyone else can relate to a garage stuffed with things but umm... mine surely is! I always walk by there like "man... so much wasted space!"

For those who don't know me, I'd love to introduce myself! My name is Mamawah (pronounced Mah-Maw-Wah). I have found a passion in design for the last 5 years (since I bought my home) and it has turned into my happy space (right behind my beautiful family)! I have a full-time job but as many people have various passions (painting, singing, dancing, running, sports, etc.) this is my passion. This is my 3rd one room challenge but my first as an official guest participant! My hobby has evolved into some amazing opportunities to work with clients and I'm excited about where my future in this unique space may lead! Now enough about me, let's get back to the project shall we!
Chestin (husband) and I been talking about changing our garage to a functional space for years and this year we've finally decided on what to do with it. I am going to create A BATHROOM space!!! Since there will be a little extra space, we are going to go ahead and sheetrock it in for a functional room (game/office space). This project is a pretty lofty goal so I will focus my energy on the bathroom portion for my ONE ROOM CHALLENGE
I have 2 options for a bathroom when people come over. My bedroom or the kids bathroom. There is Instagram "staged" spaces and "real-life" spaces and most times, I have "real-life spaces" in my bathrooms; especially the kids bathroom. I've always wanted a space that my guest could go to that was not in a questionable situation or required people in my bedroom ! đŹ This is why I am so excited that its finally here and I am choosing this space for my One Room Challenge.
The next 8 weeks, I will be changing this space (with the help of a plumber and contractor) into a functional guest bathroom. I will design the space, paint, and wallpaper this room into something that is functional and pretty!
This week I'll focus on decluttering the space so the plumber set up the plumbing! Follow me as I take you on this journey!
